This pattern continues until one of the players has only one character left, causing a "2 vs. Each fight ends after one character has been knocked out, and the next chosen character comes in and takes the place of the fallen fighter. The first fight in a Team Battle uses the first two characters chosen in a tag style match. Team Battle allows you to choose up to eight different characters and fight against a computer or human opponent. Arcade mode is also the only mode that allows you to unlock characters.Īlthough you can play against a friend in arcade mode, VS Battle is a more convenient way for two friends to play each other in a series of matches. All endings are in real time (rendered in the game engine) except for Unknown’ s ending. Once you complete arcade mode you will then be treated to a short ending for the first character you picked in your pair. Unknown constantly regains health up to the red part of her life bar, so a good way to beat her is by using tag juggles (see System). The eighth battle is against the boss (named "Unknown") and is only one round long no matter what the setting is in the options menu. In arcade mode, you select a pair of characters and progress through eight different battles against various enemies. Your standard fight to the finish, arcade mode is formatted the same as Tekken Tag Tournament for the arcade. ![]()
